From the preeminent scientific challenge to opportunities

----------

Science and technology have improved productivity in all aspects of life; thanks to our deep understanding of nature. To go farther, we need to have a clear understanding how the brain gives rise to the mind.

Philosophy in the past and neuroscience now as a distinct discipline has been addressing deep questions such as; what is the origin of consciousness? How do we know the external world? What is memory? What aspects of our identities do we share, and in what ways do we differ from each other?

We take away the neurosciences findings and knowledge and apply to develop more advanced technologies.

We've got a small group of scientists, artists, engineers, and educators who have one thing in common "curiosity" .

We are excited about extracting information from observed data, particularly unstructured datasets.

We architect machine algorithms to transform data into knowledge. We bring together technologies in computational, cognitive, and behavioral sciences to better understand human development processes.

What we do

At Sab-AI lab, we carry out research, do conceptual design, engineer software and transfer knowledge by publishing papers journals.

1- research

our research focuses are:

  • * algorithms of intelligence,
  • * neural networks dynamic patterns and flexible & goal-directed behavior,
  • * extracting information from acoustic signals,
  • * dynamics of complex decision making,
  • * innovative methods for Human-Machine Interface.

and some of the research topics we are excited about:

  • * natural language processing and acoustic modelling,
  • * computer speech and logic,
  • * ML systems that mimic human processing of visual and auditory cues,
  • * ML systems that couple image-audio cues,
  • * human-machine naturalistic speech communication,
  • * information and knowledge visualization, art,
  • * complex system behaviour, brain-like.
Curiosity Cycle

2- Knowledge Transfer

We'd love to share our knowledge and findings with our fellow citizens of the earth.

At Sab-AI lab we will welcome all learning enthusiasts to grow through learning-by-doing with us.

We publish our research findings in journals and give presentation on human-machine learning at conferences.

We make some of our computer applications available for free online for educational institutions or individuals; please feel free to try them out or use them.

So how many dot patterns vectors do you see? ...Here is what this AI sees...

We are passionate about.....

The core of our interest:

being an attentive observer and savvy....

The brain has a remarkable ability to generate complex behaviors by combining sensory evidence, prior experience, and cost-benefit considerations. Our research probes how to build artificial neural networks which mimic the natural neural mechanisms. By receiving signals from the neural, the brain integrates the signals, resulting in flexible, goal-directed behavior. The lab makes this problem accessible by breaking it down into three fundamental objectives: 1) parsing cognition into a set of simple and generalizable computational modules, 2) discovering neural circuits and mechanisms that implement those modules, and 3) understanding how the nervous system synthesizes those modules to flexibly control cognitive behaviors.
